Hallo,
my program crashes if I use the WINAPI function "~textout()".
I use the operating system Win7 64bit professional.
Before, I used the operating system Win7 32bit and there are no problems.
Can anybody help me to alter the function "~textout()" in order to avoid crashes in 64bit?
Is there an alternative to the function "~textout()"?
Important: The crashes only happens, if the program do outputs on a printer or a PDF-writer.
The function ~textout() make no problems by monitor outputs.
Thanks
Skipjack

I can't give a definite answer, but a recurring theme on some of the forums seems to suggest that some Windows API calls, ported to 64-bit, can fail unless the string arguments are in the system memory rather than local stack.
Sadly, I have no way of testing this as I'm still 32-bit bound. I hope this helps.
