Can a Windows batch file be executed within a running GB32 program? I need to extract data from a SQL database for a program I am writing however I have a batch file that will take the data I need from the SQL database and create a CSV style file for me to use which works great. I would however like my GB32 program to execute this batch file at the time of running so that my program will always have the latest data to work with. TIA

Look into ShellExec() and other such functions. As always, there is often more than one way to skin a cat and this is no exception.
One of the "gottcha's" that often causes problems is using a full path string that does or doesn't contain spaces.
If there are none, all seems to work ok. If there are spaces, then you need pass the full path string enclosed by double quotes.
