"Gfa_CB": A hidden gem!
If you are interested in creating your own custom GFA Editor 'helper' utilities or Extensions...
If you look up 'message' in the GFA Help Document, you should find a section on: Message Handling using Gfa_CB.
What's that?! It refers to:
In a GFA Editor Extension or GLL you can't use OCX controls but you can use "plain" controls and Gfa_CB will help you intercept and respond to or 'handle' the system messages generated by, for instance, a Dialog or 'form' and the 'plain' (non-OCX) controls that you might have put into it.
So, you could assign a shortcut to a GLL that could call a Dialog or 'form' and with a few controls... It's GO time!
There are dozens of Gfa_<var/func>s that can help you automate edit/format your code:{read, write, delete} directly into your Gfa Editor/IDE.
Of course, it's not going to be 'EASY'. We are talking about "programming" here. Creating autonomous processes that take action based on what they've been told and can read and compare. But when you get it right, and you are saving yourself thousands of keystrokes... There is nothing like it!
Good luck!

I just remembered "Control Spy" which can help craft a control style and help with handling of control messages.
