Can a good game be made with Microsoft Excel?

I've used Excel to create a Sudoku game in the past, nothing more. This was based on real time recalculation more than anything else.

I suppose with the fact that it is backed by Macros and VB, it should be possible to create many other games on Excel but, like you, I would not have thought of it as a tool to do so.
