Hi everyone, I'm not sure why, but in the latest version of GB32 from March 2022 i got a very ugly bug. Every time I started GB32 it crashed completely. After several days, I found out that it seems the extension GfaWin32.gll fail with any issues. I used an older version of GFA and it works nice with the same source code, but without the GfaWin32
>>> Then I tried to delete the GfaWin32 entry from the Extension Manager and the crash happen again. >>> If load MRU is enabled and the source code is loaded, Crash! >>> If load MRU is disabled and no source code is loaded, then GB32 doesn't crash... when deleting the GfaWin32 entry from the Extension Manager. >>> But as long as the source code is loaded and the GfaWin32,gll is loaded as well, GB32 crash/hang on Run.
I think it has do to with the 3D Command .appearance = 0'flach Tried to do my best to describe the error.
Don't examine the code to much! It pretty rough atm.

What role does dp24.dll play?
I am just curious.
I can't find any reference via Google.
Your code seems to indicate it is FTP related...
Declare LIB "dp24.DLL" Declare Function FtpInit(ByVal HWND As Handle) As Integer . . . FTP_StartTraceInfo("--- START FTP Session ---")

Yes. To connect to a ftp server. But its disabled in this code.. does currently nothing.
If you have security reasons, you can simply delete the dll and functions completely.

Hi, I have no problems running the code as you posted it in the latest version of GFABasic with GfaWin32.gll enabled. When I get a chance, I'll try this on my other computers. Anyone else have a problem with this code?

This may be a clue or not.
From: GFA Help, LoadForm Command, Load Event mentions:
If I try this:
LoadForm frm1 Client3D, 0, 0
I get:

What version is GFA reporting under the Help & About? This is the "wonky" install that I am getting even with a fresh latest GFA setup zip file. I think the problem is a corrupted OS on my part.
The latest install worked fine on another PC.
