Not sure what you want to do, but you can chance the optic to any font. This I made in 10 Minutes in case of Commodore 64 font ttf. style64.org/c64-truetypeThis is the real gfabasic32 ide and real code, no fake. www.trainzland.com/check/c64.jpgIf you want to run real IBM oder C64 code, is also possible in GFA32.
There are only a handful of commands you can simply convert to a function. For example C64 Poke adr, value to draw a char on screen. That's all really simple. I'm not sure if the old text files of IBM or C64 use Ansi, but I think so. And if you need special signs, you can make or add them with an "online front editor".
In the end you can run old eg. Commodore Basic Source Programs with on GB32! There are tons of old basics codes/games available.

Hi,
Look in Extra -> Properties and you can change the font used in the Editor in the 'Editor' tab. You are correct that the editor only uses the first 256 characters of any font and I couldn't find a font on my machine which included the characters you were after using but it worked with Wingdings - which made the program listing very interesting, if completely illegible 😁.
