The latest help file can be retrieved from hereNOTE: The GfaWin32.chm file will be automatically restricted by Windows; to remove this restriction, right click on the file, select the Properties tab and click the 'Unblock' button in the bottom right corner of the pop-up box. Click OK to close the box and the help file should now display normally. Version post dates: Build 16 - 23rd April 2024 If you see any errors or typos, please email gfahelpfile@outlook.com

Do we have a way to do this other than via dropbox?

No, except OneDrive which is pretty much the same hassle.
You shouldn't need to sign in to get it - just click on Download and ignore all the other pop-ups.

No. Try it in a private window of your browser. Your Dropbox login is no longer valid there in this new tab/window and you will see how far you get. You can specify than any Dropbox account, and of course it doesn't have to be yours, but it must be an existing Dropbox account.
You have to create a real public link that anyone who has the link can use. This is possible, you just have to configure it correctly, just "public".
In OneDrive it is possible, i often use this because that's exactly what OneDrive does: a public download link without specifying an MS account.
Again: Check the created links with a private window/tab.

I have checked the link and the file and anyone with the link can access and download the file.
I have re-copied the link to and updated the page just in case there was an error in the previous link.
Please try it again...

I finally downloaded the new help file, replaced the current one, ran GB32 and all help screens are blank. When I put the older one back all was good. What am I doing wrong?

You have to learn to dance the old "MS Two-Step"...
Right click on the CHM file and uncheck the box circled in red in the image above.

For all those having problems downloading from DropBox (where the file and its predecessors have sat for over eight years), the file is now hosted on OneDrive.
Please read the note under the link to unblock the help file.
Thanks for all the messages of appreciation for over ten years work. You're welcome.
