I was wondering if anyone has been able to use GB32 to send BT serial data from one PC to another?
I gather that one needs to: 1) BT pair the devices then 2) BT configure an InComing and OutGoing connection related to specified Com Port then
3) A GB32 program on each PC would configure the specified Com Port to send and receive data using DCB data structure and an Open I/O statement.
I am looking into the GFA-BASIC 32 provided "comm.G32" sample program.

From PC to PC you would normally use the network, not Bluetooth

SUCCESS!
I got BT communication to work finally via two GB32 utilities that I created based on the "comm.g32" sample program.
I called them: "BT_TX.g32" and "BT_RX.g32" . BT involves 'manual' configuration and pairing, but, once that is done, it works like a charm. I'll post my solution once I have it sufficiently tested.
The reason why...
First, I wanted to see if I could draw from my tablet to my laptop screen while I was recording a tutorial with "OBS Studio". I looked for a utility online and found a few possible solutions. Then, of course, I thought: "Why not do it myself using GFA-BASIC 32?" I could take the TCP/IP or UDP (network) route... but then I thought about Blue Tooth. I've always wanted to understand how BT works using Com Ports. A few hours later, I successfully transmitted text to be revealed on a secondary PC screen! Now begins the work of managing the various error conditions and possibly packing all of this into a library.

I am still looking for a way to transfer files from Win to Android. The file times for reading and writing must be taken into account. Since the filetime-routines of GFA-Basic 32 are buggy with network accesses, I'm suffering a bit, if I'm honest.

It certainly seems like a complex problem. I'm confident that with your determination, you'll find a solution. Please remember that it's okay to ask for help when you need it. We're all here to support each other. 😊
Does anyone have any helpful suggestions for webu?

Let's continue over there, in my thread, ok? I see that people have been writing over there without me being notified

Lass uns drüben, in meinem thread dazu weitermachen, ok? Ich sehe, dass dort drüben ja Leute schrieben, ohne dass ich benachrichtigt wurde
