I have always wanted to write a game called Trouble but for some reason never made it happen. Decided to go for it now. This is going to be a 4-player game, 1 human player and 3 computer AI players. This is the play screen I have drawn. Just started coding the game play itself. Long way to go... Attachments:

Looks a bit like "mensch ärgere dich nicht." But nicely made!

Pop-O-matic dice roller! That takes me back! They probably still sell it. Yup! Found it on Amazon...

Basically the same game but the Pop-O-Matic dice was cool. I simulated it in my game pretty good.

We used to play a similar game called Ludo (interestingly the Latin for I play...).
Programming the AI could be interesting.
In Trouble, if you finish your move on a spot occupied by another player's piece, does that piece get removed and have to start again?
Good luck with the game. 👍

The movements have proven once again to be tricky, mostly because of leaving the board to go into the finish area, but I am determined to do it...

Finally got the movements for the human player, player 1 working. Needed to basically separate all 4 boards with several overlapping coordinates. A little more to do and then work on the other 3 AI players.

This is a very early preview of the PC Trouble game I am writing. Just completed the human player (player 1) and testing before I add in the AI for the other 3 AI (computer) players. I have not added the sound yet either. As always, written entirely in GFA Basic 32. youtu.be/BThOu3Ar_MI
