larrybtoys's Post about 'Hawaiian Checkers' reminded me of a game called: Hi-Q.
Just to get out from under foot of his post, I am posting my demonstration of the Hi-Q game in this separate post.
A while back in the 70's I watched my older sister playing many many games and almost getting but never reaching a 'perfect score' by leaving only one peg on the board. This stayed in the back of my mind until 2014 when I decided to defeat this 'puzzle'!
I hammered out this game simulation in GB32, with 3 built-in perfect score solutions. Moves can be undone by pressing: 'U' and replayed with the letter: 'R'.
I'll need to try to get the GB32 source code file size below 1 MB before I can post in this forum. It is currently at 1.8MB because I included bulky resources: wave files and graphics.

I changed the sound effects to Mp3's and now am under 1MB...

Here is a video capture of a solution to the Hi-Q puzzle. Getting the last piece to end up in the middle gives extra credit!

Nicely done. I also remember this game from my youth - we called it simply Solitaire - played out on an old wooden board with a mixed medley of marbles.

This variation seems to use 4 more locations. I like that you have a place to put the marbles.
