You may have heard of the now 'ancient': POV-Ray and Moray 3D modeling programs. That's what I used to model and render the graphics way back.
BTW scalion created 3D rendering in GFA-BASIC fairly recently.

I was a huge Atari dealer selling tons of ST computers and products from 1985 to 2000 although Atari sales dropped quite a bit when they went belly up...We sold the ST, Ste, Mega ST, Falcon, Jaguar, Portfolio, Lynx and all the accessories. Fun times.
