The latest version of the HTML format GFABasic help file (Build 7) can now be downloaded from one of the two following links: - If you do not already have the help file, you can get it, the GLL extension which links it to the GFABasic IDE and a ReadMe.txt file which describes how to install and register both files, from this link.
- If you are simply updating to the new build, you can get it from here.
Once you have downloaded the help file you will have to activate it: Right click on the GfaWin32.chm file and select 'Properties'; at the bottom right you will see a command button 'Unblock'; click this and you are ready to go. The following is a list of major changes since Build 6: - A new help page dealing with Multithreading.
- A new help page detailing with how to call HTML (chm) help files.
- A re-write of the MsgBox/Message page to include all constants as well as explaining how to link them to HTML help files.
- Extensive re-writing of the Input, Input# and Store/Recall pages.
- A short page on Automation.
- Numerous corrections, amendments and the addition of missing links and index records.
- A list of Key and ASCII/ANSI Codes
- Details of WM_xxx messages linked to keyboard input

I was noticing that my version of the Help File does not include the constants _maxLarge and _minLarge, which of course refer to the largest and smallest values that can be stored in Large or Int64 data types.
The descriptions of the MaxLarge and MinLarge functions which return the largest and smallest of a list of Int64 values suggest that MinLarge returns an Int54 value instead of an Int64 value. I think this is a typo.
