Hi everyone.
I started on AtariST with GFA-Basic and also coded some applications on Windows 3. Now I just stumbled upon my old GFW-Files and wanted to have a look. But GB32 seems to dont understand the file format. Is there a converter/importer for them?
Regards,

Hi Rhavin, And welcome. I'm going to watch, I've already seen a program that was doing this somewhere I'll try to find it. Meanwhile, I also kept a lot of programs written on Atari and Gfa-Basic 16 for windows. I can tell you from experience that it is quite difficult to convert because the GFA-Basic 32 is much more advanced in terms of object programming and interface with Window API. This means if you have a text version of your old code you can simply paste it into the GFA-Basic 32 editor and modify the instructions that are obsolete. If you have questions about the operation of the GFA-Basic 32 do not hesitate to ask them here.
You can also post one of your old GfaBAsic code here and we can try to convert it for you. That could help you next.
Have a nice day.

Try this:
1. Load GFW in GFA-Basic 2. Save it as *.LST 3. Rename it to *.G32 4. Try to load in GFA 32
Eliminate the errors as good as possible.

The company GFA does not exist anymore, therefore no rights are to be considered.
Today you do not need to send CDs or discs. Make an ISO out of it and send the file via email or cloud.
