Hallo,
EDIT: Sorry, wrong placed thread...
I would like to use the slider- value with own variables and screen positions. Is it possible? Displaying the values in system-colors is not really an option...

Not really...please have a look at the code: The value while moving the slider is given by "lb1.Text=Str$(sl1.Value" in the Sub. Please try this stand-alone program. It's taken in parts from the GfA-Help.
I would like to copy that Value into my own var to evaluate while moving the slider. I did not find any possibility using my own var like "xl$" or similar...I've tried a lot of variations...
I surmise I have to create my own slider...I like to create own things but sometimes it's easier to use system controls.

You have api doc in C:\Program Files (x86)\GB32\Doc The file name is Apifunc.pdf But i think you must read also Objects.pdf in the same name. Still in the same directory: You can find more details in Win32API-1.pdf to Win32API-4.pdf . Hope you can read dutch docs else you must use google translator.

Thanks, I will try...Hmmm...just some words or sentences are to understand. But I have just installed the API-Guide 3.7. Much to read...
